01/02/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved House had to be re-opened due to SWG came to the site to check the interior of the house. SWG was checking if the person transported was not ill due to gas in the house. Risk management did call for info on the call and sent investigator to the site to check the stove out. In doing the testing, found a leak at the stove area and not able to determine where the leak was. The reconnection for the gas will need to be tested for a pressure test before the gas can be turned back on. RV.
01/02/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with egress issues and electrical needs to be looked at. Arrived and the units still on site. Had to call T.F.D. for medical issues on the person staying in the house. Was able to look around and found zip cords that have been spiced to romex wiring and MC cable. Have light boxes that have been added and not secured. Have extension cords that are buried with storage and clothing just piled in different areas. The house has no clear paths to doors and windows and 2- rooms are filled from floor to ceiling and one room not able to enter due to not able to open the door all the way. One of the people staying in the house was transported to the hospital for observation. 2- were taken by a family member to another location. Did let the owner know that he will not be allowed to remain in the house. Has no water due to the old water line has been removed and has a PVC line installed but no connected at the meter. The electrical had the meter removed due to the amount of splices added through out the house. The gas meter is being pinned due to the smell of gas inside the house. Will be securing the house due to the owner stated that he will get back in. He left the site before paperwork was done and had to get the owner off the property due to getting verbal on the condemnation. Will do the posting of Do Not Enter and the N.O.V. to Vacate the property. All the opening on the property have been secured by Arcaiden Industries. RV.
02/08/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Owner appears to be going to live with a family member. The house is vacant and secured and at this time the case will be closed. The person talking to was from an agency and has been working with the other people that were living in the house with the owner. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
