01/08/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, AFTER SPEAKING TO THE OWNER OF TH E TRAILER PARK AND RECEIVING INFO PROVIDED OF WHERE THE AREA SHE WAS THAT SHE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT, I INSPECTED THE AREA OF CONCERN. MY FINDING IS A 4 FT EASEMENT PROVIDED BETWEEN HOUSES TO THE EAST OF TWO TRAILER PARKS, 3780 AND 3940 N ROMERO RD. EASMENT RUNS ALL ALONG 3780 AND PARTIALLY ALONG 3940. THE NARROW EASEMENT AND SURROUNDING CHAIN LINK FENCE HAS BEEN IN PLACE FOR SOME TIME AND THERE ARE NO GATES FROM THE TRAILER PARKS OR HOMES THAT ALLOW ENTRY INTO THE EASEMENT. THE EASEMENT HAD VERY MINOR DEBRIS, GRASS AT 12" AND BELOW SPOTTED THRU OUT THE EASEMENT. THE OWNER MADE IT SOUND THAT THERE WERE WEEDS AND CACTUS TWO FT HIGH THRU OUT THE EASEMENT. THE EASEMENT IS COVERED BY TREES AND SHADY , THERE ARE NO ISSUES WITH THE TREES AND I FOUND NO CACTUS. MY SUGGESTION TO THE MANAGER IS THAT BECAUSE IT IS NOT A DESIGNATED EASEMENT AND NO PROPERTY LINES IDENTIFIED, IS THAT HE TAKE A LADDER OR TWO TO GET OVER THE CHAIN LINK FENCE AND CUT THE GRASS TO THEIR TRAILER PARK PROPERTY LINE APPROX 40 FEET. OR CUT TO THE MIDDLE OF THE EASEMENT PROPERTY LINE TO PROPERTY LINE, MAYBE A 20-30 MINUTE JOB. I EXPLAINED I HAD NO REAL ISSUES WITH THE EASEMENT AND WOULD NOT BE ISSUING A NOV. MANAGER DAVID PASSED THE INFO TO THE OWNER AND I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER THAT SHE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO OWNED IT. I SUGGESTED SHE GO TO RECORDS DEPT, DSD TO GET THAT INFO. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
