12/10/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and checking for hot spots and doing the overhaul. The fire investigators checking for cause. The fire was started from the exterior and burned into the southwest corner of the house. The exterior of the house has trash and debris scattered through out the area of the house. The wood frame porch has burned and has 2-other porches over the rear doors the need to be removed due to not built correctly. The electrical has been removed and has no gas to the property. The electrical panel on the exterior of the house has the main conductors not installed properly and are burning the grounding bar and other parts of the panel. The wires are cut at the pole and may need an upgrade on the panel. The unit that burned has hoarding issues. Was having trouble talking to the owner due to does not speak good english. Did find one of the tenants to let the owner know and he was telling the owner what was being said. The house has hoarding issues and one door was blocked with storage. The main structure is OK and a window did burn and melted the frame. The tenants were placed with the Redcross. RV.
12/11/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house that burned is vacant and secured. The red brick house had screws placed on the metal security doors. T.P.D. was site and found people in the house. The red brick house is lacking the electrical due to payment. At this time the case will be closed due to will be working with the insurance company. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
