10/06/2018	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators have been on site and left. The fire was electical wires that were spliced and not in a junction box. The interior panel and the exterior panels have been upgraded and did not see a permit for the upgrades. The fire was contained to the area of the wiring and burned parts of the ceiling joists. Holes were made in the drywall to check for the fire in the middle of the house. The main structure of the house is OK and only fire damage was where the wiring was against the wood. The meter of the electrical was turned off due to the repairs required and the gas was turned off due to lacking the electrical. The house was posted of Do Not Enter on the front window and the owner signed the paperwork. The owner has a place to stay until the electrical and gas are turned back on. RV.
