| 08/22/2018 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | GOODMAN | Approved | PRIOR TO OUR INSPECTION TFD HAD BEEN CALLED TO THE UNIT BY THE OCCUPANT ON 8/16. THEY TOLD HIM THE UNIT WAS NOT LIVABLE. I CALLED MANAGEMENT TO MEET AT THE UNIT. I FOUND THE LEAK IN THE ROOF HAD BEEN IDENTIFIED AND CORRECTEDBY MAINTANENCE PERSON WHO WAS ALSO ON SITE. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE DID TO FIX THE ROOF. HE THEN REMOVED THE DRYWALL IN THE AREA OF THE LEAK. MANAGEMENT HAD OFFERED THE OCCUPANT TWO DIFFERENT COMPLEXED WHERE THEY HAD UNOCCUPIED UNITS, OCCUPANT DENIED BOTH OFFERS, HE WAS MOVING OUT AND WAS ALREADY BOXING BELONGING TO MOVE OUT. WILL BE OUT SEPT 1ST. MANAGEMENT STATED THEY COULD COMPLETE THE PATCH TODAY, AND TAPE TEXTURE AND PAINT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. I ASKED OCCUPANT IF HE WAS OK WITH THAT, HE SAID HE WAS. GAVE BOTH PARTIES MY BUSINESS CARD TO CALL SHOULD THERE BE ANY PROBLEMS. WORK IS IN PROGRESS AND WILL BE COMPLETED SAME DAY AS INSPECTION . NOV NOT REQUIRED. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE |
