08/01/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Met with the management and went over the complaint made. Did meet with the maintenance due to the area checked was next to the neighboring property. Did find where a 2 x 4 mesh has been added to a metal picket gate from the 2-properties and has where the water is drained from one property to the next. The mesh was stoping the vegetation and blocking the water to drain through the gate. The water backed up to the 1402 W. Ajo Way and flooded the vacant land area that was used for parking or stored property. Did meet with the engineering and the mesh needs to be removed and allow the water to flow with out any blockage. Did meet with the management and let them know that the mesh needs to be removed. They did compliant about the amount of trash and debris that comes through when the water is going through the gate. Did go over that I was next door and the area is clean. The water appears to all be draining from 1402 W. Ajo Way into 1302 W. Ajo Way. The water goes into a wash area than to the Santa Cruz River. RV.
08/08/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The mesh has been removed and has also been verified by the neighboring property at 1402 W. Ajo Way that the mesh was removed and the water did drain from the last rain. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
