06/29/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Office called that the unit has no AC. Arrived and the tenants were on site and the AC on a handler was not cooling. Hardly any air was coming out of the vents. The smoke detectors were not installed properly being to low from the ceiling. Does have roaches and bugs coming from the walls in different areas. Did meet with the management and they have stated that the unit is working and advised that I was in the unit and was not cooling. Did serve a N.O.V. to have the cooling checked today and needed to be a contractor for heating and cooling working on the unit. Did let the tenant be aware that the management needs to have the unit checked and will be sending someone to look at the unit. RV.
