SWG was on site and was completed on the survey. Did find the owners father on site and the owner is out of the states in Mexico. The fire was in the northeast bedroom at the rear of the house. The fire was under a desk with items being stored underneath the desk. Had something with wires in-between the stored items. The fire was contained to the desk area and only in the room. The room has heavy smoke damage damage and some of the plaster and the paint has blistered from the heat of the fire. The other parts of the house did get some smoke damage but not as much as the room due to the door was closed. The owners father was on site and he signed the paperwork and will be able to stay in the house. The house was being aired out from the smoke and smell of the fire. The front door was forced opened to gain entry due to no one home during the fire. Gas and electrical was left on and all was working. No structual damage to the house and was more of the content that burned. RV. |
