05/14/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the fire was still going. The fire was in the house and the rear yard area. The rear yard had trash and debris with storage through out the rear yard. All that was burned. On the rear of the house had a wood frame porch and that is on the ground. Had an addition added to the main house and that has been burned and may require removing the structure due to the amount of damage. This addition appears to have been built with out a permit. The supply lines from the pole have burned and on the ground and were removed at the pole. The house was condemned on 3-7-18 by inspector Valdez and at that time had no gas and water and the electrical was removed with removing the meter. The gas has been removed since January of 2018 and not sure on the water. No vent holes cut on the house area but did have to remove some of the plywood with insul board on the roof due to were not able to remove the heat of fire in the area in the carport near the peak. Was not able to make contact with the owner and did find a phone to someone who had lived on the property and no answer. There was an Amber on site who was stating that she lived in the house and once the investigation was completed allowed her in to check the damage. She did get some paperwork from a bedroom and will get with the owner to remove her items out. Did advise that in order to enter the property, that she will need to make contact with the owner to enter the property. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. Had all the opening boarded up due to the windows were missing or damaged by the fire. Did have some openings that had security bars and no windows and those were not boarded up at this time due to not able to open the security bars. Did call Biff Baker Fence to have the carport area fenced off due to the amount if burned wood on the ground and the storage room was not stable. Did do the posting on the front window of Do Not Enter and the N.O.V. to Vacate next to the placard. Will try and find the owner. RV.
05/15/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property is vacant and secured. At this time the case will be closed per the administrator Rick Saldate due to will be working with the insurance company. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
