03/03/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called the T.P.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the building is still in the process of being blocked off and the officer and detectives still in the process of coming to the site. Was allowed to check the damaged area on the stability of the structure. Was not allowed to check due to had a fatality and the body was still on site. The vehicle hit the SE corner of the building and breaking the glass and the knee wall that supported the metal frame for the glass. The metal wrought iron fencing near the rightaway area has been damaged where the vehicle made the entry into the property from the intersection of the street. There was multiple injuries in the store and the exterior where the vehicles were going through the drive through. Did get another call for a fire in the area and did address the fire and than came back. The manager was on site and she signed the paperwork and did order the crew to be on stand by for securing the area damaged. Did go over where the area needed to be cleaned to open for business tomorrow. They were going to call once the board up was completed and the area was cleaned. The health department has been called and will meet tomorrow to check the site. RV.
03/05/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The store has opened and has met with the contractor and will be giving the bids and ordering the material needed for the window. At this time the case will be closed per the administrator Rick Saldate due to will be working with the insurance on the work being done. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
