Arrived and all the units have cleared and the fire investigators were on site. The fire was in the living room and broke the front window. The fire made a hole in the wooden floor and the wood frame wall under the window. There is heavy smoke damage through out the house. Some holes made in the drywall on the walls and ceilings to check for fire. The owner was not home and tried several phone numbers and not able to locate the owner. Did call the supervisor Martin Romero to have the broken window covered with plywood and was given permission. Called Arcaiden Industries to place plywood on the broken window. Did have a dead cat and was placed in a bag and friends were going to remove the cat from the property. All the windows and doors were secured. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window on the plywood. While securing, the owner did show to the property and she signed the paperwork. She was OK with the broken window being secured.
