01/04/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VINDIOLA Approved Arrived on site and met with tenant and her boyfriend. Showed me into the rear home and master bedroom area. Closet light and outlet outside the closet were the issues. States a humming is coming from the light bulb, tried several times but did not hear anything. The outlet outside closet was tight and operated fine. States when she unplugs her portable heater is sparks. She was pulling out the cord without shutting the heater. Tried is several times and showed her how shutting the heater first elimimnated that issue. States her extension cord was getting hot however this cord was a cheap cord and she now understood. Faceplate missing along westside of home and romox outside conduit in carport, Called owner and states is having a electrical out to the unit next week and will call me when he has a date. Tenant moving out today and tommorrow and already had boyfriends truck packed in driveway, will follow up on this case
01/10/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VINDIOLA Approved Arrived on site today, knocked on door however no answer. Property appeared to vacant and no vehicles in carport. Exsposed romex under carport was repaired and outlet along west side of home was covered with new cover plate. Spoke with owner and advised him I would be close out this case.
