Arrived and the unit was still on site and had a grease fire where the fire was being put out at the sink and the fire started and the head went off over the sink. No structual damage to the building but has hear damage to the kitchen cabinets and the floor has approx. 1" of water standing. Metro fire came to the site to repair the sprinkler head and was not able to find a matching replacement and place a cap to get the system back on. A company came to extract the water. The electrical was removed at the breaker until checked tomorrow. The daughter signed the paperwork and will come back tomorrow to check the status of the unit. RV. |

The walls were not wet and the ceiling were dried out. The electrical was turned back on and the owner is still out of town. The management will be making repairs on the cabinets and patching the drywall on the ceiling area. The sprinkler was not repaired and has been working with the fire department and working on having extra heads on the property. No other damage was found at daylight hours. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
