06/22/2018 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-13(a) ACCUMULATION OF VEGETATION PROHIBITED. Each owner, lessee, tenant, resident or occupant shall maintain a property so it is free of the accumulation or untended growth of vegetation. The accumulation or untended growth of vegetation means the presence of plants on property that create a fire, safety or health hazard, or that attract vermin either on the property, on neighboring properties, or on both, and includes but is not limited to: (1) Any lawn grass that exceeds 6 inches in height; (2) All weeds that exceed 6 inches in height; (3) Dead trees and dead shrubs; (4) Dead palm fronds within ten feet of the ground, a structure, a fence or wall, or of any combustible other than the tree from which the fronds have grown; (5) Any tree, shrub, or other form of vegetation of any kind on the property or on the adjoining right-of-way, street, or alley that extends over or under the sidewalk space or roadway in a manner that may interfere with the reasonable use of the street, sidewalk, or alley for pedestrian or vehicular traffic of any kind or that may obstruct the view or light distribution of traffic-control devices or luminaries. Vegetation must be trimmed and maintained to provide an unobstructed pedestrian path a minimum 48 inches in width and 80 inches in height from grade.

01/01/2018 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators on site checking for cause. The fire was on the second floor in building D on the northeast area of the building. The room was a storage room for records for the business. The building is vacant and not being used at this time due to needing repairs. The electrical has been removed at the main disconnect for that building. The water has been turned off due to water leaks in the building. Vent holes were cut in the roof in the area of the fire in the hallway area. The drywall was pulled down on the walls and ceiling to the storage room, the ceiling was pulled down in the hall in front of the storage room and holes made in the ceiling down the hall were the rooms are and not being used. The area was not secured at this time and did meet with the manager and the maintenance on getting the area secured. The manager signed the paperwork and was going over on the extracting the water in the hallway to the stairway to where the doors are for exiting. Will check the site tomorrow on having the area secured. RV.
