12/23/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units still on site checking for hot spots and doing the overhaul. The fire investigator were on site checking for cause. The fire was started with a hair dryer. The fire was contained to the rear bedroom. The window was broken due to the fire. The house has medium smoke damage through out the house. No vent hole through the roof was made. The family members gave permission to have the window secured due to not able to get anyone to have the opening covered. Called Arcaiden Industries to the property to have the window boarded up. The daughter signed the paperwork and took the copies. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. RV.
01/31/2018 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured. Have been in contact with the family members and the parents are in a assisted living home at this time. The insurance is working on the claim and will start work soon. At this time the case will be closed per the administrator Rick Saldate due to working with the insurance. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
