12/22/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with an explosion of a weather balloon. Arrived and the units were clearing the site and was shown where the ballon exploded and the damage to the building. The building has loose lighting and some have fallen, the metal siding is loose in areas and found some screws that have fallen on the floor. The sprinkler heads had opened up in the back section of the building, appprox. 6 heads and flooded the concrete floor. Did check the office areas and has cracks in the drywall by the doors and windows through out including some of the interior offices. Did find a broken window in the blast area on the second floor in a lobby. The overhead doors are off the tracks facing the area of the explosion, approx. (5). This case will be taken over by Pima County due to they own the building. The property is City of Tucson and leased to Pima County. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
