12/12/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire to a duplex. Arrived and all the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The house is a town house and connected on the east side. Did have to check the other house to let the tenants back in and checking on leaving the power back on. Did make contact with the owner of the house and on his way to come and check the damage and sign the paperwork. The house has heavy smoke damage and drywall following down from the water damage. A vent hole was cut on the roof in the bedroom area which is a total lost. The house has security bars and the doors are able to be locked. The meter for the electrical has been removed due to the damage of the fire and the gas meter was already pinned for lack of payment. RV.
12/13/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured and at this time the case will be closed per the administrator Rick Saldate due to will be working with the insurance. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
