09/05/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with hoarding and min. housing condition. Arrived and the units were still working the case and was allowed to check the unit. The unit had squatters and did make contact with the daughter and she was not aware of anyone suppose to be in the house. Was not able to make contact with the owner but the daughter gave permission to have the property secured. The front door was not able to lock due to the jamb was broken due to forced entry. Has windows where the glass has been removed, some have broken panes and able to reach the locking device to open the casement windows. Boarded the front door and 2-windows and all other operning were screwed shut. Arcaiden Industries was called to the site to have the property secured. The interior of the house has piles of trash and debris and the items that were in the house have been gone through. The fuses on the pull out have been removed. The electrical is being removed at the pole and the main disconnect has triple lugging. The casement windows have plates on the lintels that prevent the windows from opening completely and will need to be removed before re-occupied. Posted the Do Not Enter on the front window and the Notice to Vacate on the window by the kitchen on the plywood that is covering the window. Their was a vehicle on site and that was given to a person waiting on site that was taken from one of the people that was removed from the house. Once the property was secured and all the people left the site, the property was condemned and left the site. Will check in 10 days. RV.
09/13/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured. Did talk to the owners daughter and she has been on the property. Did go over on keeping the property secured at all times and will be going soon to have the property cleaned. The meter from the disconnect has been removed for the electrical and the wires cut at the pole. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
