08/14/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Office called that T.F.D. on site with a broken sprinkler head and the unit flooded. Arrived and the unit still on site and a sprinkler head was broken due to impact to the head in the bedroom. The water was off at the riser and someone turned off the water to the complex off at the backflow. The maintenance was on site and the water was turned back on to the complex and everyone had water back on. United Fire did show to the property and repaired the sprinkler head and the system was back on line. The tenant was removing water out the front door with a broom. Alot of the furniture was outside of the unit and the mattress was removed and was soaked with water. The maintenance had a company on it's way to extract the water and check the moisture in the walls and ceiling. Did serve the maintenance the paperwork and he signed the paperwork. At this time the tenant was going to remain in the unit and that could change once the company doing the extraction has to more work on the walls and ceilings. Will check in 5 days. RV.
08/22/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved No repairs done due to the quick reaction done on the extracting of the water out of the unit. None of the drywall was damaged and had to be removed. All the electrical was working in all the rooms. The unit is being occupied at this time. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
