06/13/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called and Joseph stated that T.F.D. and T.P.D. on site with a broken gas line in the house and possible hoarder. Arrived and the units were still on site and has a broken flex line to a dryer in the house where it appears that the dryer was trying to be removed from the house. The interior of the house smelled like gas and the windows were opened to let the smell go away and Southwest gas was called to the site and the gas meter was pinned. The gas line to the dryer was removed and capped by Southewest gas. A permit will be required to have the gas turned back on. The electrical was removed at the meter by T.E.P. due to the AC condensor has been stripped and the cooper is being taken from the area of the electrical and the parts to the condensor. The owner has a neighbor that is watching the house and doing items as needed to be done to the house as needed. The neighbor was going to secure the house and than gave permission to have the City of Tucson contractor come and secure the house. Arcaiden Industries was called and secured any window that does not have bars with plywood. All the doors with metal security doors have all been pinned shut. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front and rear of the house. The owner is living in Houston Texas and has the neighbor addressing any issues on the property and stating that he is the Power of Attorney for her at this time. The neighbor signed the paperwork and showed that power and the gas being removed from the property. Once secured, left the site. RV.
07/27/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured. The owner is out of state and staying with family members. All the utilities have all been removed at the meters. The posting are still in place and has no signs of entry since the last inspection. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
