05/16/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND THE AREA TO BE VERY LARGE AND PROBABLY SEVERAL PARCELS. WALKED A LARGE PORTION OF THE AREA AND FOUND LARGE AND MANY PILES OF TRASH AND DEBRIS. IT DID APPEAR THAT MANY HOMELESS CAMPS HAD BEEN SET UP IN THE AREA OVER A PERIOD OR TIME AND THEN WERE ABANDONED. I DID NOT FIND ANY CAMPERS AT THE 10 OR SO SITES I VISITED, DID SEE A HOMELESS PERSON IN PASSING OR WALKING BY. FOUND NO NEW TENTS SET UP, AND NO EVIDENCE OF CURRENT CAMPERS. AREA ALSO BORDERS A WASH SO I WILL NEED TO CONTACT TRANSPORTATION TO DETERMINE IF THE WASH IS CITY OR PRIVATE AND HOW OWNERS NEED TO GO ABOUT CLEANING AND IF THE AREA CAN BE CLEARED AND CLEANED AND IF THE CITY WILL HELP.
12/14/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMANan Approved AFTER SPEAKING WITH OWNER AT THANKSGIVING TIME AND INFORMED THAT OWNER WOULD BE SETTING UP A CLEAN UP PROCESS, MY INSPECTION STILL FOUND NOTHING DONE.
