They do not meet the 25' setbacks and the required min. 3-acres of land for the use that is being on the property at this time which is required. A R-3 zone is required for what is being done on the property and a bigger lot. Did do inspection on assisting inspector Robert Gonzalez and called T.F.D. to assist due to the doors in the rear of pad locks with hasps. In unit 2018 the kitchen sink and stove and oven are not operable. Does have an owner listed for the property and the owners of the business are renting with option to buy. The owner listed was served all the paperwork and will be getting with the business owner to check on what will be done to continue the boarding house. The tenants were all taken to different location for placement. The Redcross was called to the site and than cancelled due to the owner of the business will be placing the occupants. The owner of the buisness was not able to secure the property and gave permission to have the property secured. Did do posting of Do Not. Enter on the front windows and the doors in front. Did go over the issues that need to be addressed and not sure if the owner of the buisness or the owner listed will do the work to correct or make request to keep the business going on the property. Water heaters lacking the drain lines on the T.P.R. valves, water to 2320 has been turned off since 2014 and getting water from 2018. The smoke detectors have been pulled off and or lacking batteries, a fire wall has been cut into connecting the two units into one building and found no records of the fire wall being allowed to cut to change the duplex units into one connecting structure. One bathroom is not able to be used due to being remodeled completely. While meeting with the people staying in the house did count 17 people on site and 2 people were on there way from work and one they didn't know where the other person was. So with that count, we have 20 people staying on the property. They have connected to 2306 and that unit has 4 people in and being used as a kitchen dinning room to eat. They has added washing machines in the rear yards and have added porches to cover the washer machines. The hose was removed from 2318 to 2320 and 2320 now has no water to the unit. The owner was advised to meet with Tucson Water to make the payment from collection and to get the water back on. Coverplates are missing or broken through out all the units. The light fixtures have the wiring exposed where the coverplates have been removed and the business owner stating that they were painting. The property is being condemned and did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front windows of both addresses. The occupants are being transferred to another location. The owner of the business has been advised to not be on the property after dark and could come back at daylight to work, clean or remove items from the property. RV. |
