02/01/2017 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Was called by supervisor Martin Romero to report to site due to T.P.D. on site with people living in the unit with out electrical. Arrived and assisted inspector Vindiola 3302 N. Geronimo Ave. on the electrical due to had extension cords going from Geronimo Ave. to this address to the second floor. While checking the 405 address is was found that the unit had no electrical on and was getting power from the 3302 address through the extension cords. The door was unlocked and T.P.D. did knock on the door and no one answered. They did wait a few minutes and knocked again and did enter the unit and found no one in the unit, The unit has water and the sewer was backing up in the unit and out in the street. The unit does have broken windows and some extension cords on the interior. The unit was cleaned and had no items in the unit indication that someone living in the unit. Did find a bike and some clothing. At this time the unit is being condemned due to lacking the electrical and the tampering of the meter. TEP was called to the site to check on the meters having power and the conductors have been cut at the pole. The water company was called to the site to check if the water should be on and that the lock has been broken. The water was to be turned on and not sure who the person was due to was not on the property at this time. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site due to the owner listed lives in California and not able to make contact. Did have a person who lived down the street coming to the property who is stating that she is the owner and never showed up. Secured 1-3' door, 1-4040 XO window, and screwed the sliding glass door shut from the interior. Did the Notice to Vacate and the Do Not Enter on the door area. took pictures. The sewer water stop flowing in the street when leaving the site. While securing the unit, a person did show on the property and got his bike and some clothing and was told not to come back. Will check in 30 days. RV.
