12/10/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Was called back to the site due to the investigation was completed. Arrived and all the units were leaving and called the manager to have the unit secured. The manager was going to call the maintenance to have the unit secured and get material to secure the unit. Did check the damage and had holes in the drywall in the kitchen on the walls and ceiling where the person tried to enter the above unit to escape. Holes were made in the closet where the person was going back in forth to the other unit where the fire was started. Did find some burning on the insulation in the walls but it did not burn. The carpet was soaked due to the water used to knocked down the person inside the unit. Did take pictures and the manager signed all the paper work. Did do the posting on the front door of "Do Not Enter" and the mananger was going to lock the unit once the maintenance was completed covering holes in the drywall. There was a refrigerator on the exterior and was going to move it back in once done on the interior. Was call a company to extract water off the flooring. Did leave the site before it was secured. Will check in 30 days. RV.
12/10/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Received a call for a fire in another unit and the incident came into this unit. Was not allowed into the unit due to the investigation. The unit has water on the flooring of the carpert and the vinly flooring. Some holes have been made in the drywall walls and ceilings. Will be leaving the site and will be called back once the investigation is completed. RV.
01/18/2017 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved All the work has been completed and the tenant has moved back in. The permit has been issued and finaled, T16CM09595 on 12-23-16. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
