CLAYTON EXPLAINED TO ME THAT THE LIGHTING CODE APPLIES ONLY TO NEW BUILDING OR BUILDING REMODEL AND NOT TO EXISTING LIGHTING. CLAYTON AGREED THAT EXISTING FIXTURES WERE PROBABLY INSTALLED MORE THAT 20 YRS AGO, HIS GUESS FROM THE TYPE OF FIXTURE IN THE PICTURES.
