| 10/03/2016 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | PUMPHREY | Approved | Scheduled inspection of hospitality house communal bathroom; met complainant, house manager, and facilities manager. Bathroom had a very mild waste odor. Facilities indicated they had the plumbers who installed the plumbing in this recently built structure come out to review; they had stated the vent pipes may be the source of the odor, but ok as contructed (were approved under permit). Facilities is obtaining "sweet air" devices to help with the occasional odor. They are carbon filters that install on the vent pipes. Occupant's unit was inspected and did not have an odor. There is no major plumbing issue suspected or requiring enforcement at this time. |
