08/16/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VINDIOLA Approved Complaint leaking ceiling from bedroom rough after it rains. Arrived on site met with occupant was allowed into unit and showed me to the rear bedroom where buckets were on the floor and two holes and discolored texture in ceiling in back bedroom. Also noted missing batteries to smoke detector in unit. Occupant States complaintant of that room was moved by management to another unit. Met with Lisa manager of property State they moved out the occupant to one of the model units when the problem arose. Both occupants of the unit were given that opportunity and only one took advantage. We'll have a battery replaced in that smoked after today. Roof was repaired about a week ago is allowing the ceiling to dry out before repairs are made to the ceiling and texture will move to notice of violation and follow up
08/22/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VINDIOLA Approved Arrived on site for follow up, met with asst. manager states they are all done just having the carpet cleaned for the tenants. Made contact with tenant whol let me into unit and found ceiling was taped textured and painted along with carpet being cleaned. Will move to close out this case.
