08/11/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT SMITH Approved Inspection found the parking lot has been resurfaced with black top over black top. Spoke with engineering and they do not require a permit for this, the parking lot in question has a drain that go to the lot next door, speaking with the owner of that lot she stated during the last storm that her lot got a lot of run off from that lot next door. I asked the question to engineering and he stated that they 1/10 of a feet for drainage, anything after that would be a violation. From what I can see there is a 2 inch lip from the black top to the side walk. The last storm we had was a very hard rain with some area getting up to 2 inch of rain in a short time frame.
