The accumulation or untended growth of vegetation means the presence of plants on property that create a fire, safety or health hazard, or that attract vermin either on the property, on neighboring properties, or on both, and includes but is not limited to: (1) Any lawn grass that exceeds 6 inches in height; (2) All weeds that exceed 6 inches in height; (3) Dead trees and dead shrubs; (4) Dead palm fronds within ten feet of the ground, a structure, a fence or wall, or of any combustible other than the tree from which the fronds have grown; (5) Any tree, shrub, or other form of vegetation of any kind on the property or on the adjoining right-of-way, street, or alley that extends over or under the sidewalk space or roadway in a manner that may interfere with the reasonable use of the street, sidewalk, or alley for pedestrian or vehicular traffic of any kind or that may obstruct the view or light distribution of traffic-control devices or luminaries. Vegetation must be trimmed and maintained to provide an unobstructed pedestrian path a minimum 48 inches in width and 80 inches in height from grade. |

The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe. |

| 01/19/2016 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Received call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a car through building. Arrived and the fire units have cleared the site. The accident happened on Sunday morning and T.P.D did respond but T.F.D. was not call to the site. A truck hit the vehicle on the side and pushed the vehicle into the building into the wall. The exterior wall was adobe with stucco on the exterior. Has damage to the corner where the vehcile impacted the building and making a small dent in the adobe where the dirt was removed from the impact. Did have a 4 x 4 wood post supporting a beam in the carport where it was broken in half. Did call the owner with no answer and knocked on the doors. Due to not able to make contact with the owner, did call Arcaiden Industries to have the 4 x 4 wood post installed to temporary support of the beam. The post base for the post was damaged and needs to be replaced. T.F.D. did place caution tape to prevent entry into the area where the car was parked. The car is a total lost. Did have trash and debris with dead vegetation in the front yard. Once the post was installed did leave the site. Will do the N.O.V. and mail to the owner. RV. |
