01/14/2016 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Received call from Rick Saldate the supervisor that the trailer park is having issues with the electrical with a few trailers. Arrived and found where the meter has been removed from the master meter on the east side of the property. There is a jumper on one phase. Did talk to tenants and received a phone number to call the son of the owner. Did call and met with the son of the owner on the property. Was told that T.E.P. was called to the site on 1-10-16 due to having issues on the electrical to the east side of the trailer park. The meter was removed due to the socket was damaged due to heat from the conductor being damaged by the heat. The fuses were pulled out on the disconnect at the pole where the meter was removed. The fuses were pulled out on the same phase on the damaged socket and where the wiring was burned. One of the complaints was that the lights were going on and off and not having trouble with some of the lighting and the outlets not working. Due to loosing one phase at the main service panel, the phase that was working will be giving power only to the trailers. Did call T.E.P. and they did acknowledge that the jumper was installed by them due to not wanting to remove the power to the trailers. They have no time for a power kill due to the contractor has not called to schedule or let T.E.P. know who the contractor is and when to do the power kill. Did advise that all the 220 volt breaker be removed until the power back to normal. Did call the contractor and they are still trying to set the time and date to do the power kill. Will wait for the time and date. At this time the owner, the contractor and T.E.P. has done everything that needs to be done at this time. RV.
01/21/2016 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The power is all on to all the trailers and no one has complaints at this time. At this time the case will be closed and the permit T16CM00235 was issued on 1-11-16 and finaled on 1-20-16. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
