Found security light dangling over east facade supported only by exposed conductors; this fixture was wired from security light on south facade using a extension cord as the conductor and unsecured and over the roof. Tenant had concern on location of range near door and its operability; advised we don't inspect appliances; further review of 1998 remodel permit shows range in its current location. Another concern was roaches coming out from under sink, but per tenant the owner previously addressed (approx. July) with no current issues. It was indicated that the space heater malfunctioned when using a particular outlet, but not others; the outlet tested correct. Original garage enclosed with door enclosed by drywall on interior; unfinished flooring (concrete); 1998 remodel permit T98CM00498 for this unit shows the area converted into storage, with water heater closet and evaporative cooler in its present location, no violation. No other violations identified at time of inspection. Will contact property owner to immediately address security light issue. |
