11/10/2015 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-4. PERMITS REQUIRED. Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe.

Has an added light fixture that is hanging from the rafters and not connected with the electrical in a box or in the fixture. The wiring is romex and not protected. Will check records if a permit has been issued for the carport. If no permit has been issued, will do N.O.V. RV.
12/17/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Met with the daughter and drawings have been made and will require a D.D.O. and currently doing the process. There are changes that will be required and advise the daughter to wait for the permit to be issued before the changes are done to make sure the changes have been approved. The permit has been applied for, T15CM08652 on 12-10-15. Will check in 45 days. RV.
