| 11/03/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Received call from Rick Mendoza that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared and the fire investigators were leaving the site. Did have the tenants and the wife of the owner on site. The fire was by the storage room on the exterior by the door. The fire was in a bucket that was placed on the wooden platform from the mobile home to the storage room. The floor had a hole where burned through. The stucco was removed from the front of the storage room where checking for fire in the interior of the storage room. The electrical was off and did check for damage to the wiring and found none. The power was restored to the house and the storage room. The water heater has been replaced and lacking the drain line for the T.P.R. vavle. They used the existing flex line and is aged. Lacking the sediment trap for the gas. Did let the owner know that a permit is required to have the correction done and checked for approval on the install of the water heater. Where the stucco was loose where removed to check for fire was removed from the wall and placed on the ground level of the carport. The interior of the home was lacking working smoke detectors and did have a smoke detector installed the common area. The tenant did check all the electrical on the interior of the home and all was working. Did place caution tape on the area of the storage room until the floor is repaired or covered where burned on the wood surface. Took pictures and had the owner sign the paper work and the tenants were allowed to remain in the home. Will check in 45 days. RV. |

The wood framing is existing and the stucco replaced where removed to match the existing but lacking the painting at this time. The wood floor has been replaced with new. Did call the owner and went over the permit for the water heater and she will get the permit and call for the inspection when the inspection has been completed. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
