Arrived and the flooring has a hole in the second floor deck in front of unit #208 which has burned and going to other units and is another building. The area has caution tape from the fire department at this time and did meet with the manager on site on other requests. Did ask that the area be blocked off to not allow kids going under the tape. The management was going to place orange cones and plywood over the hole. They did have a maintenance crew coming at 2:00 PM to start the demo and check on what has to be done. The area being blocked off does leave access to both sides to escape the structure in case of an emergency of a fire to get to the bottom floor. Did talk to the owner of the property who lives in California and will be sending a contractor to check on the repairs and to check the other floors to make sure the decks on the second floor through out are OK and to check on sealing the floor to have the proper covering to prevent the moisture getting into the wood backing. Will check the site tomorrow. RV. |
