09/30/2015 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Met with the tenant and did an inspection on the unit. The property is a built duplex and are completely seperate. The property does have a basement that is commonly used for the washer machine and some storage. The water heater has been replaced and appears to have been moved to the current location. The water heater heater has a gas line that is not secured properly and the drain line for the T.P.R. is not to the exterior of the house and goes to the dirt in the floor in the basement. They have a washer machine that has been added to the existing sewer line and other work has been done where replaced. The changes to the plumbing have used as ABS to cast iron. The water lines for the washer machine have been tapped in to the existing lines to the bathrooms. The heater has been changed and hanging from the floor joists and has AC to the unit. The exterior doors (3) are lacking the door seal on the threshold due to the floor has ceramic tile and will not allow the door to swing. The unit is lacking smoke detectors, the plumbing is not draining properly in the bathroom area in the sink, toilet and tub, the shower head has no pressure on the water coming out of the head and the tub spout has very little water coming out, the globes are lacking through out on the light fixtures, the sink has no stopper and the handle in not connected, the front door is not able to open and close due to binding on the jamb, open ground in the kitchen over the stove and other location, has floor outlets that are lacking the cover plates and may have been added, and has a stove that has been serviced and not able to get parts to have worked on and made operable.
