Description:
The new sign is constructed of LED lights that shine so brightly on this stretch of unlit roadway that it can be seen for nearly a mile away and clearly illuminates everything in the surrounding area. It is almost blinding at night and absolutely seems like a violation of some kind. Many businesses in this area are putting up new signs using LED lights and are much too bright when the blue/white lights are used. We are very interested to know if Tucson has a lighting code in place to restrict these types of signs. We are concerned with safety while driving and the possibility of excessive light pollution (effecting nearby space observatories)
