08/20/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT COX Approved Met at the site today with the PM and the PO. The odor is coming from the PO's condo. There is a distinct odor of cat urine in the unit. The odor was not emminating to the outside as it was not identifiable until I entered the unit and into the hallway immediately adjacent to the bedroom. The issue is being aggrivagted by a waste drain obstruction which is causing back up in J-108 and J-109. The unit, J-109, has been abandoned by the owner due to foreclosure proceedings however there is still a considerable amount of debris and personal belongings remaining. The PO has contacted ADA for assistance on getting the carpets removed whcih will eliminate the cat urine odor and there was a plumbing contractor on site today to clear the drain obstruction. The PO and PM stated they would be in contact with myself to advise on progress.
