Description:

(Sew Perfectly-Suite #113): one oversized A-frame sign in ROW without TRE permit (located behind sidewalks at NW corner of Wetmore & 1st Ave ). Sign has both red and green decals, but taped on green decal not valid (red private property decal is valid under T14OT01392). Private property just to west for Boston Market has different ownership (Elden Properties) than shopping center tenant rents from (Tucson Place Partners). Sign needs to be on shopping center property. Sign also has been enlarged by addition of polyboard faces to 6.67 square feet (30" x 32"), exceeding code limit of 6.25 square feet.

THERE WERE TWO STICKERS AND DECIDED TO CHECK WITH THE SIGN DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ENFORCEMENT. ON 8/12/ 15 I MET WITH ANDY CONNER, PROVIDED THE COMPLAINT FORM , ANDY LOOKED UP THE INTERSECTION ON AERIAL VIEWS, I SHOWED HIM WHERE THE SIGN WAS LOCATED IN THE GRASSY PART OF THE ROW, ANDY CHECKED THE PERMIT, HE STATED THAT THE OWNER JUST RECENTLY RENEWED THE A FRAME PERMIT, AND THAT THE SIGN WAS PROPERLY LOCATED IN THE ROW. NO VIOLATION / CLOSE CASE.
