Arrived and the owner has fallen in a hole in the rear yard on the east side near the street and alley. The hole was near a metal shed with masonry caps as a walk way. The hole appears to be an old cess pool where the concrete lid gave due to age and rotted. The owner was at the bottom of the hole and was lifted out with a lift by the fire department. The hole is in a fenced area and covered the hole with plywood from the owners property. Did do a posting of "Do Not Enter" on the gate to the fenced area to the hole and blocked it with another gate to block the opening. The daughter signed the paper work and did let her know that the hole needs to be filled with clean fill without dumping trash and debris in the hole. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
