The fire was above the deep fryers where it went up the wall into the exhaust hood and into the attic area. Holes were made to check for fire in the attic area on the roof and the ceiling around the hood system. The fire was around the hood system and has heavy smoke damage through out the store. The gas and electrical was removed to the building with the gas meter being pinned and the electrical was removed at the pole with the pull out fuses pulled. Did meet with the owner and the store will be closed due to the damage of the fire. The owner did sign the paper work. The owner was removing items out of the freezer and refrigerator and taking to another store. The owner was going to lock the doors when completed once the items are moved to the other store that are going to save. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
