03/27/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMA2 Approved VISITED SITE, FOUND THE AREA IN QUESTION AT HOLY FAMILY MEDICAL CENTER. SPOKE WITH THE FRONT DESK PERSONAL SHOWED HER THE COMPLAINT AND ASKED SHE MAKE A COPY, ALSO GAVE THEM A BUSINESS CARD AS PERSONAEL WAS UNSURE OF WHAT DEPARTMENT SHOULD ADDRESS THE COMPLAINT. THE AREA IN QUESTION IS NOT MARKED "NO PARKING". THE STREET IS NOT MARKED OR LABELED/ PAINTED AS A FIRE LANE, AND THERE IS DESIGNATED PARKING THRU OUT THE PROPERTY. I WAS UNSURE IF WE HAD JURISDICTION ON THE PRIVATE PROPERTY. I DID RECEIVE A CALL FROM PEDRO VALDEZ WHO STATED HE WAS WITH SECURITY AND RESPONSIBLE FOR PARKING. PEDRO ASKED IF HE WAS IN VIOLATION OF SOMETHING. AS I ASSUMED PEDRO FELT THE PEOPLE PARKING THERE WORK AT HOLY FAMILY CENTER. I TOLD PEDRO I WOULD NEED TO CHECK WITH ZONING FIRST. I DID MEET WITH RUSSYLN WELLS, WENT OVER THE AERIAL VIEWS, SHE EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS UP TO THE PRIVATE OWNERS WETHER OR NOT THEY WANTED PEOPLE PARKING THERE, THAT WE COULD SUGGEST PEOPLE PARK IN ASSIGNED PARKING AREAS, AND UNSURE IF PARKING SIGNS WOULD BE REQUIRED. I THEN SPOKE WITH MARTIN ROMERO AND MENTIONED TO MARTIN THAT RUSSLYN WAS UNSURE WHAT WE ISSUE A NOV FOR. MARTIN ARGREED THAT IF ZONING WAS UNSURE WHAT WE WOULD SITE FOR THAT WE PROBALBLY DID NOT NEED TO ISSUE A NOV. ** I DID RESPOND BACK TO PEDRO VALDEZ (SECURITY) AND SUGGESTED THAT IF THE CENTER DID NOT WANT PEOPLE PARKING THERE, THAT THEY REQUIRE WORKERS TO PARK IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS OR POST THE AREA "NO PARKING" AND TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION WOULD MIGHT HAPPEN IN THE CASE OF A EMERGENCY RESPONSE SUCH AS FIRE AND HOW THEY MIGHT HANDLE THAT SITUATION IF CARS NEEDED TO BE MOVED IF EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLES NEEDED TO GET INTO THE AREA. PEDRO MENTIONED HE UNDERSTOOD AND WOULD NEED TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION WITH SUPERVISION. AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO VIOLATION . NO VIOLATION CLOSE CASE.
