02/24/2015 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMA2 Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TPD OFFICERS WHO INFORMED ME THAT THE PERSON DRIVING A SILVER JEEP LIBERTY WAS DRIVING EAST ON FT LOWELL, MAY HAVE HAD A SIEZURE WHILE DRIVING BUT JUMPED THE CURB DROVE FOR APPROX 25-30 FEET AND RAN INTO THE APT COMPLEX NORTH WALL. DRIVER WAS TAKEN TO UMC HOSPITAL PRIOR TO TPD ARRIVING. MET WITH TFD CAPTAIN WHO STATED POWER REMAINED ON, NO GAS TO THE UNIT AND THEY WERE READY TO CLEAR THE SCENE. MET WITH MANAGER MEAGAN BROWN AND TENANT YINKE FU, NOBODY HAD BEEN INSIDE THE UNIT YET BUT MANAGER HAD ALREADY RECEIVED THE OK TO PUT TENANTS UP IN A MOTEL DUE TO NO VACANCIES IN THE APT COMPLEX. ** INSPECTION FOUND JEEP LIBERTY ENTERED THE REAR WALL OR NORTH SIDE OF THE STRUCTURE. FIRST DAMAGED A COLLUM AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE REAR PORCH THAT SUPPORTED THE DECK FOR THE UNIT ABOVE. PORCH AREA IS APPROX 6FT X 12FT. CAR THEN ENTERED A 6 FT AREA BETWEEN A 6-0 X 4-0 WINDOW IN THE LIVINGROOM AND A 4-0 X 4-0 WINDOW IN THE BEDROOM. DAMAGE: FRAMING: APPROX 8 STUDS AND TWO TRIMMERS, ONE NEXT TO EACH WINDOW WERE DAMAGED AND DISPLACED. BOTH WINDOW SILLS WERE DAMAGED AS WELL AS CRIPPLES BELOW THE WINDOW SILLS. FOURS STUDS WERE DAMAGED IN THE PARTING WALL BETWEEN BDRM AND LIVINGROOM. PORCH COLLUM HAD APPROX 6 DAMAGED STUDS AND FENCING. DRYWALL / STUCCO: APPROX 8FT X 20FT AREA OF STUCCO, AND PORCH COLLUM STUCCO DAMAGED. APPROX 8' X 20' AND 8FT X 10 FT OF DRYWALL DAMAGED TO BOTH EXTERIOR AND PARTING WALL. ELECTRICAL: TWO OUTLETS DAMAGED, WIRING STRETCHED AND PULLED OUT OF THE OUTLETS. POWER WAS TURNED OFF AT THE INTERIOR SUB PANEL ALL BREAKER TURNED OFF NAD REMAIN OFF. **BATHCREST WAS CONTACTED TO BOARD THE REAR WALL FROM 6-0 WINDOW TO 4-0 WINDOW, 16 LINEAL FT. FOUR SHEETS OF PLYWOOD USED WITH 3 STUDS. 4X4 POST USED TO SECURE PORCH BEAM. ** TPD CONTACTED GARY'S TOWING TO REMOVE THE CAR FROM THE BUILDING. MANAGER CHANGED LOCKS ON THE FRONT DOOR AND TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIGNING OF PAPERWORK.
