Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe. |

Arrived and the vehicle has been removed and in the parking space. The damage was to a masonry building where a hole was made under a window and the bottom of the window was pushed in. The interior walls have a metal stud fur out with drywall and insulation. The hole is 3' x 6' and the window has cracking where it has been plastered. The window is OK and the owner has reset the alarm to the building. The owner was not worried about the hole in the wall and will address covering it after Monday. The owner was on site and left the property before the inspector was on the property. Did call and did go over that the opening needs to be covered. The owner has nothing in the building due to vacant at this time. The building is vacant and secured and the alarm has been activated. Will do N.O.V. on Monday. RV. |
