The installation appears to have been professionally done and poses no safety or any other hazard whatsoever. The awning was not present on the 2005 aerials however did appear in 2008 suggesting it could be almost 10 years old. The homeowner has applied for a permit at this time adn code enforcement will not pursue this matter any further as it poses no real problem or safety concern and did not come from a neighbor complaint.
