Arrived and the fire was on the roof with a Photovoltaic system. The fire was the roof coating heating up and causing fires near the legs of the panels on the roof. The owner will be removed from the property at this time due to the power to the house will be removed and the panel for the Photovoltaic will be removed. This will leave no power to the house until an electrician checks if the power can be turned back on or if work needs to be done on the electrical. The owners had some where to go and will try and find an electrician to check if the power can be turned back on. The owner signed the paper work and all had left the property. T.P.D. was called to the site due to the smell of gas. Will go to the site on Monday with Rick Hollander to check the work done on the panels. RV. |

Have called Solar City and they are checking if the system is going to be replaced back on the roof. Did check with Clayton the plans reviewer and a permit is required if the system is not going back up to check if the orginal system is back to the orginal condition. If the system is going back up on the roof a permit is also required to re-inspect the install back on the roof. Will do N.O.V. Will check in 10 days. RV. |
