09/07/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Received a call from communication that T.F.D. on site with a car thru-building. Arrived and T.P.D. on site and a SUV did hit the southwest corner of the building. The walls were masonry with stucco on the exterior and drywall on furring strips with ceramic tile on the drywall. A 4-compartment sink has been pushed and the drain has been broken at the wall. When the sink was pushed, the water heater has been moved and rusted at the bottom. The maintenance man was on site and was not able to keep the store open due to the sink will not be able to be reconnected. The maintenance did call corporate and they gave permission to have the opening in the wall secured. Did meet with the supervisor at the time of the accident and let her know that the store will not be able to remain open and can call the health department to check what they can do do open at a later time. A hole in the masonry wall is approx. 5' x 5' but has cracks beyond the opening. The damage in the masonry wall will be 8' x 8' and the interior wall will be 8' x 10' and may be larger due to the area damaged. The drain pipe is ABS and snapped in the fitting in the wall for the compartment sink. Did show the maintenance man all the areas that need to be addressed. Also have issues on the electrical system with the main disconnect and the main service panel with the meter base not having the proper connection on the nipples. The areas of connection have been damaged and will need to be addressed on re-doing to have the proper connection for the bonding to be correct. Will check in 10 days. RV.
06/19/2015 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit has been issued, T14CM05886 on 9-9-14 and finaled on 10-16-14. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
