| 06/06/2014 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Received call from Norma from office that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were clearing. The fire started on the exterior with the son working on a vehicle. A van started and spread to other vehicles stored on the property and burning 2-wood sheds that are total lost. The overhang on the south side has damage with going into the living area in the bathroom and the bedroom. Drywall was pulled down to check for fire with little damage. The tri-plex to supply the electrical was cut down due to heat damage at the pole. The meter was removed for the electrical and the gas meter pinned. Will require permits for the reconnect once the repairs are completed and approved to be turned back on for the gas and the electrical. The windows to the bathroom and the bedroom have broken and have security bars and will not require being secured. The owner's family was on site and were removing items out of the house and will secure the house once it get dark. The owner can move back in as soon as some checks the electrical in the fire area stating that it's OK and the inspection done for the clearance. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
