05/06/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE MET WITH TPD WHO MENTIONED OCCUPANTS WERE ELDERLY WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, WERE PUT UP IN THE MOBILE HOME THRU THE HELP OF CODAC. ENTERED THE STRUCTURE, FOUND WATER AND ELECTRIC WERE ON AND THE WATER DRAINING IN THE BATHROOM DRAINING ADEQUATELY, TUB TOILET AND SINK. THERE WERE PATHWAYS TO ALL EXITS HOWEVER OCCUPANT STATED THE FRONT DOOR WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN, I FOUND DOOR STICKY BUT COULD BE OPENED. KITCHEN WAS MESSY , PLATIC BAGS ON THE FLOOR AND OPEN FOOD CONTAINERS AND DISHES COVERING THE COUNTER TOPS. PAPPERS COVERED THE LIVINGROOM FLOOR AND OCCUPANTS WERE VERY HEAVY SMOKERS. ( ASH TRAYS OVERFLOWING) FRONT BEDROOM WAS BEING USED FOR STORAGE AND FILLED WITH BOXES. OCCUPANTS STAYED IN THE REAR BEDROOM AND WAS WITHIN FOUR FEET OF THE REAR DOOR EXIT. HALLWAY FROM THE REAR BEDROOM TO THE FRONT KITCHEN HAD SHOES AND CLOTHES STACKED ALONG THE WALLS AND SOME ITEMS COULD BE CONSIDERED TRIP HAZARDS BUT THE HALLWAY WAS CLEAR. BATHROOM ALSO DIRTY BUT USABLE. NOV WAS ISSUED FOR UNSANITARY CONDITONS AND I EXPLAINED TO OWNER THAT I WOULD BE REINSPECTING IN 5 DAYS ASKING SHE CLEAN UP THE PAPER AND PLASTIC BAGS IN KITCHEN AND LIVINGROOM, REMOVE OLD FOOD AND DISHES FROM THE KITCHEN, CLEAN THE BATHROOM AND CLEAR STUFF FROM THE HALLWAY AND REAR BEDROOM. ** TPD HAD CONTACTED SAMHC FOR A MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION, THEY DID ARRIVE ON SCENE AND SPOKE TO OCCUPANTS, MENTIONED THEY DID NOT QUALIFY FOR HELP. WE CONTACTED CORAL FROM CODAC EXPLAINED THE SITUATION, CORAL STATED THEY ONLY PROVIDE MEDICATIONS AND HELP FINDING HOUSING.
05/14/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GGOODMAN Approved REVISITED SITE, FOUND AREA FROM FRONT DOOR TO THE KITCHEN AREA, KITCHEN TO DINING ROOM, AND DINING ROOM THRU THE HALLWAY TO THE REAR DOOR AND MASTER BDRM HAD ALL BEEN CLEANED AND TRASH AND DEBRIS REMOVED FROM THE MASTER BDRM AND HALL BATH. TRAILER NOW MEETS OUR PATHWAY REQUIREMENTS. THE ONLY ROOM NOT CLEANED OUT WAS THE FRONT ROOM WHICH IS BEING USED FOR STORAGE AND NOT A LIVING SPACE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
