Officers discovered the occupant, an elderly woman, was living without electricity and called foa a CE inspector. After my arrival I spoke with the woman who stated she turns off her electricity periodically as a "spiritual" thing. I explained that she would need to restore the electricity or I would be forced to condemn the apartment and prohibit her from staying there. She stated she would contact TEPCO and request service be restored when she recieved her SSI check on the 3rd. I explained that I would return on 04-08 to verify the restoration of electrical service. |
