Arrived and the units were clearing and the fire investigators were checking for the cause of the fire. The person that was staying in the area of the fire was transported due to injuries. The fire was in a area that appeared to be for storage and was staying in the rear unit. The fire burned his bed and some of the items that surround the bed with heavy smoke damage through out. Was not able to find an owner by calling or checking with the neighbors. Did have a pick up truck in the front of the building and not operable at this time. Did have openings that needed to be secured and called Martin Romero to get permission to have secured. Due to not able to find the owner or rep. for the property was given permission to secure the property. Did call Bathcrest to have 3-doors secured with plywood and 3-windows covering casement windows. Did do posting of "Do Not Enter" on the doors on the plywood. Due to not able to find the owner and the person staying in the area of the fire was transported, have no one to sign the paper work. Will try and find the owner to serve the paper work. RV. |
